Week of February 28

Wow - This year is flying. We are already in March! (well...tomorrow)

Here's what is going on this week.

Band:

Rehearsal today after school until 5:45/6:00 - and - Thursday after school until 4:45. Please be there, and be prompt. Any problems, concerns - See Me!

Keep in mind Region Band as that will be taking place in only Three Weeks! I will need all of your help from March 24 - March 26.

Week of February 19th

Hi folks! Spring is rapidly approaching!! (TRUST ME)

Here is what's going on for this week!

Band:

-All senior Band and Colorguard members NEED to see me Tuesday or Wednesday! No exceptions!

- There is rehearsal after school on Thursday - February 24th from 3-445pm. Attendance is mandatory as this will be the only after-school time we have this week.

- Continue practicing, I will be giving out excerpt information and a rehearsal schedule shortly (once all the music is in).

Tu: Amadeus review and Quiz - Mozart Worksheet

Wed: Go over Mozart worksheet - Begin Beethoven

Thurs: Continue Beethoven discussion - Possibly begin film

Fri: Finish Beethoven Film - Worksheet

Tu: Learn C chord, begin to incorporate use in G progression

Wed - Thurs: Accompany songs using G, C, and D chords

Band:

There is rehearsal after school on Monday 2/14 from 4:30 - 5:45 - Attendance is mandatory. Please be there - Any concerns please see Mr. Tenaglia on Monday.

There is a band booster meeting Monday night at 7:30 in the Music room. Please tell your parents to attend. Very important information regarding senior trip, banquet, region band, and much more will be discussed!
